My name is Seth, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the friends and family of Jake Poirier — someone who meant so much to so many of us.

Jake was the kind of person who showed up for people without hesitation. Whether it was through his humor, his generosity, or simply his presence, he had a way of making the people around him feel seen, supported, included and cared for. If you knew Jake, you know exactly what I mean.

Since his initial diagnosis with cancer, Jake carried himself with incredible strength, resilience, and a spirit that never stopped showing up for the people he loved.

This fundraiser is being created to support his wife, Amoy, and to help ease the financial burden during an incredibly difficult time — covering medical expenses, end-of-life costs, and giving her the space to grieve without added stress.
