On June 15th, 2025, our hearts were shattered as we welcomed our beautiful grandson, Jah’zirr Bernard Martinez, into the world — born still but forever loved. Jah’zirr’s life, though brief, left an unbreakable imprint on our hearts and souls.

Our sweet boy was taken too soon due to an unexpected umbilical cord accident. There were no warning signs. No time to prepare. Just silence where there should have been a cry. We are sharing Jah’zirr’s story not only in his memory but to bring awareness to umbilical cord-related stillbirth — a heartbreaking and often silent tragedy that affects so many families each year.
