In loving memory of our sweet nephew Jacob, who left us too soon.
Jacob was a lively and spirited 24 year old. A hardworking kid who strived to be the best role model to his 3 younger brothers. A loving son, nephew, cousin and grandchild.
On January 2024, Jacob was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer which deteriorated his health rapidly. Every treatment brought a new health obstacle. Even so, Jacob remained optimistic through difficult procedures and months of chemotherapy and radiation. Jacob’s spirit couldn’t be broken he was a warrior every step of this battle.
On July 26th, we received the devastating news that the cancer had spread even further, and Jacob was placed in hospice. He opted to spend the time he had with his loved ones while he anxiously awaited news of a possible trial at UCLA in hopes of a miracle.
Through this time, Jacob remained strong and in good spirits. We know he did it for us. He loved his family and he wanted to be present for his brothers. In the pain and sadness, he still remained steadfast in his Faith.
On August 5th, peacefully while in his mother’s arms, Jacob took his last breath on Earth. Just hours after his passing, we received the call- he had been approved to start his trial at UCLA.
Jacob was a warrior! He fought till the very end. Cancer cut his life short but it did not defeat him. Our hearts are filled with grief and sadness but we remember the vast joy he brought in the short time we were blessed with his life. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time. If you find it in your heart to honor Jacob, we are raising funds to assist the costs of funeral services. Jacob’s diagnosis was a complete shock and the cancer progressed so rapidly. We were hopeful he would make a full recovery. We grieve with Jacob’s mother, Evelyn as no mother should have to lay their child to rest. We will miss him dearly, and remember him fondly while we speak of his fighter spirit. He was courageous and strong and a true inspiration. Rest in Paradise, forever our strong warrior, Jacob. We love you forever.
Thank you for all your love and support
