Nubia Jaqueline Bravo, lovingly known as “Jacki,” was the heart of our family and a true hero in every sense. As the eldest sister, she was fiercely protective, always standing up for me and our younger sisters no matter the circumstances. Jacki’s courage and selflessness were evident in every part of her life, but especially in her final moments—she gave everything to protect the children in her care at the daycare, ensuring their safety before thinking of herself. Her bravery and love will never be forgotten.

Jacki was an incredible director, a devoted daughter, a caring sister, and above all, an amazing mother to her two boys. She would do anything for her children and for our family, always putting others first. Every memory with her is precious, and her presence brought warmth and strength to everyone around her. Losing her has left a deep void in our lives, but her spirit continues to inspire us every day.
