This GoFundMe has been created to help cover the funeral costs of our beloved Aunt Isabel.

For 3 years, Isabel poured every ounce of her strength into caring for her husband, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and placed on hospice care. She devoted herself completely to him — day and night — never once thinking of herself.

In the midst of this exhausting and emotional journey, Isabel began to feel unwell. But in her selflessness, she brushed aside her symptoms, believing her priority was to care for her husband. It wasn’t until last month that she finally went to the hospital — only to be diagnosed with stage 4 cancer herself.

Her decline was sudden and heartbreaking. Surrounded by prayer and love, we held her hand as she took her last breaths on Saturday afternoon.

If you ever had the blessing of knowing Isabel, you know the kind of light she carried. No matter what she was going through, she made everyone feel seen, heard, and deeply loved. She gave her heart freely — and even in her final days, her concern was never for herself.

With little time to prepare, our uncle is now left grieving and trying to arrange funeral plans as best he can. Any support you can give would mean the world to our family.
