Honoring Iris Tracy: Rallying Around Sam

It is with great sorrow that I come on here to say that Iris gained her wings Thursday afternoon at 2:17pm 06/19/25. Please keep Sam and the entire family in your thoughts and prayers. She was loved by so many.

I’m setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my father-in-law, Sam Tracy, in hopes of easing some of the financial burden he’s facing during this incredibly difficult time.

On Wednesday, June 11th, Sam’s beloved wife of 47 years, Iris, went in for a biopsy after lesions were found on her brain. Tragically, just days later, she suffered a hemorrhagic stroke that caused devastating and irreversible damage.

Iris returned home under the compassionate care of Hospice on Tuesday, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. As we cherish these final moments with her, many have reached out asking how they can help.

This fund is intended to support Sam with the mounting medical expenses and the upcoming funeral costs. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean so much to our family.
