Honoring Hunter, Healing Kali

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for listening to my story. I, Kali Smart, was in a horrible accident on Friday, July 25th. I am currently at Memorial Hermann in Houston, Texas, fighting with every ounce of strength I have.

In this unimaginable tragedy, Kali lost her husband, Hunter Smart, along with three of her close family members: Melissa Smart, Otis Smart, and Terry Smart. So much of her world was taken in an instant.

Kali has always been the kind of person who lights up a room. She is beyond kind, genuine, caring, goofy, and full of heart. Now she’s facing a long and painful road to healing, surrounded by grief and uncertainty. We want to show up for her the way she has always shown up for others.
