Honoring Hope Lane: Support for Final Expenses
Donation protected
I'm Chris, Hope's partner for 25 years.
On March 31, 2025, Hope passed away suddenly at home. It was painless and fast. She was 51.
During her time with us, not only did Hope take care of me, she held many jobs that helped the community. That's what she was about, putting others ahead of herself.
She worked for 988, taking suicide calls. She worked at the local high school as a para in the special needs department. We volunteered at a local charity, helping how we could.
It wasn't uncommon for Hope to pay for a meal for a person in need at a restaurant. But she refused to tell people because she never did things for recognition.
Unfortunately, she was the breadwinner in the house, and like most Americans, we have no savings. So, I'm asking for help for final expenses and if there's enough, to help me land on my feet.
Thank you, and please tell your family you love them. We truly never know when they'll be taken from us.
