Hello everyone, my name is Arsidez. I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments of my life as my family prepares to say goodbye to my father, Homero León, after his sudden and heartbreaking decline.

This past year has been incredibly heavy. My father bravely battled Parkinson’s and dementia, and only within the last month, we were devastated by an additional diagnosis of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. On December 23, 2025, we received the call no family is ever ready for — that he may have only 24–72 hours left before his transition.

Living several states away, I created this GoFundMe to help my family and me travel to Georgia and to cover the most basic cremation services. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources for a larger ceremony, but we want to honor him with dignity and care during this final chapter.

My father worked his entire life in service to others, always fighting for and standing beside communities who needed support the most. He was deeply compassionate, principled, and selfless — a hero in every sense of the word to me, and someone whose example will guide me for the rest of my life.
