Honoring Holly, Sterling, Tanner, and Nevaeh

On June 9, 2026, our family's lost four beautiful people in a single evening at their home in Livonia, Michigan. We are raising funds to help cover the costs of laying them to rest and to support the family members left behind as we try to find a way through an unimaginable grief.

Holly Marie Kimball-Pierce was 53 years old. She was fun-loving and free-spirited, the kind of person who lit up a room without even trying. She worked as a registered nurse, spending her career caring for others, and that warmth carried over into everything she did. Her neighbors remembered her as a sweetheart, and her lifelong friends, some of whom knew her since childhood, placed flowers on her doorstep when they heard the news. She was loved deeply and leaves behind a community that is still in shock.

Sterling Ray Pierce was 58 years old. A former contractor and devoted family man, Sterling was the kind of person who showed up. A former neighbor who watched the family for over a decade described him as good and hardworking. He and Holly had been partners for decades, building a life and a home together.

Tanner Ray Pierce was 22 years old. He was young, warm-hearted, and deeply loved. Incredibly smart and hardworking, he approached life with a quiet determination that those around him admired. His friends remember him as someone with a genuinely good heart. He and Nevaeh had been together for nearly five years, and his devotion to her was something everyone who knew them could see clearly. He had his whole life ahead of him.

Nevaeh May Jaslynn Finch was 21 years old. She had been part of this family for years, spending time living at the home she shared with Tanner. Her aunt described her as the kindest soul you could ever meet, a lover of animals and a dedicated student who was still figuring out her life but knew without question that she wanted to do it alongside Tanner. Her whole world revolved around him, and they found in each other exactly what they were looking for. She is mourned not only by her own family, who are heartbroken, but by the Pierce/Kimball family who had fully welcomed her as one of their own. Nevaeh lost her grandmother to a heart attack just months before this tragedy, and now her family faces this unthinkable loss on top of that grief.

All four of them were gone in a single evening. Our family is now faced with the overwhelming reality of planning services and covering costs for four people while barely able to breathe. Any contribution goes directly toward cremation and funeral expenses, support for surviving family members who need time to grieve, and the financial burden that comes with a loss of this magnitude. We are grateful beyond words for your kindness.
