If you knew Wayne, you knew he belonged outside. Whether it was a hike, a backyard project, a camping trip, or simply sitting in the sunshine — that’s where he was happiest. Fresh air, open skies, and time with the people he loved most — that was his perfect day.

If he wasn’t outside, you could find him collecting or making signs. If you needed a sign, he was your guy. Any size, any shape, any color — he truly had a niche for it.

But more than anything, he was proud to be a dad.

Scott, Hayley, and Kiersten were his greatest adventure and his deepest joy. He showed up — fully and wholeheartedly — whether for life’s biggest milestones or the simple, everyday moments. He believed quality time mattered most: shared laughs, teaching life lessons, and creating memories that will live on in his children forever.

His legacy isn’t just in the stories we share — it lives on in the three incredible kids he raised. His love, his strength, his humor, and his deep appreciation for the outdoors shine through Scott, Hayley, and Kiersten every single day.
