My husband died after fighting 15 long years from hydrationitis supertiva. He contracted mersa which led to sepsis. He was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma cancer and tried to do chemo and radiation but that only escalated the pre-existing conditions. He was taken off the chemo and radiation and was told he was going to die and they could only make him comfortable. He was the kind of person that most people would look at and think he was a mean guy, but when you got to know him, he wanted what every man wanted, which was a family, a good income to provide for his family, and to grow old with the woman he married. Unfortunately , since his illness , we lost all that.
