My dear friend (family) of 32 years suddenly died this morning. She turned 50 this year and moved back to NY for a new start. She faced obstacles beyond her control and sadly never got that chance. When we spent time together, we would always be laughing. She loved my kids like her own.

She would always tell me that no one knows her the way I do and call me her ride or die. I couldn't wait to spend summer with her and make more memories together. She would always ask me, "Why me? Why do you love me so much?" My answer was always, "Because you're you."

Life wasn't easy for her, but she went through it with a smile and always made people laugh. She was like a sister that I always tried to help and protect. She was just trying to get back on her feet. She left behind her 5-year-old dog.

I'm creating this because her family doesn't have money for a cremation or a funeral. All I want is for her to be celebrated. She brought her energy and smile to everyone she met. I want to come together and recognize her life and not treat her like a nobody because to me she was somebody. Please help us raise money.
