Henry, lovingly knew as “Happy” — or in Thai, แฮปปี้ — had a gentle soul and a tender heart. His countenance reflected gladness, warmth, and kindness. There was something soft and pure about him. We truly cannot think of anything unloving about Henry.

What many did not see was the depth of pain he carried privately—the parts of his story he did not always share. The traumas he experienced throughout his life quietly weighed on his spirit, he struggled deeply. He ultimately lost his battle with that pain, dying by suicide.

We are devastated by his loss. At the same time, we want to honor him in a way that reflects the goodness of who he was—not just the hardships he endured.

This fundraiser has been created to help cover funeral expenses and to support our efforts to honor Henry’s life with the dignity, beauty, and tenderness he deserves. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated.
