Today, we are remembering my beloved sister, Heidi Anselmo.

Heidi’s life was filled with challenges from a very young age—hardships, loss, and struggles that most people will never fully understand. She grew up without the stability, support, or encouragement many take for granted, yet she endured with quiet strength.

Despite everything, Heidi had an unbelievable heart, especially for animals. Any stray or hungry creature that crossed her path was fed and cared for, even if it meant she went without. Her nurturing spirit touched everyone around her, and though she may not have realized it, her life had a profound impact. For those of us who grew up with her, watching her journey shaped our own choices and gave us a deeper perspective on compassion and resilience.

She was my sister, and she was deeply loved.

We wish her life had been filled with more peace, more support, and the love she so freely gave to others. That regret is something our family will always carry.

Now, as we grieve her loss, my mother faces the unimaginable pain of burying her child. Funeral and memorial expenses have added an unexpected burden during this heartbreaking time, and we want to give Heidi the respectful farewell she deserves—one that honors her gentle soul.

We are humbly asking for help to cover these costs so we can lay her to rest with the dignity and love she always showed the world.
