**In Loving Memory of Haylee Diane Crandall**
We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of our beloved Haylee, who left us too soon due to circumstances that are currently under investigation. On behalf of my aunt and cousins, I am reaching out to create this fund as we navigate this difficult time. Many of you have expressed a desire to help, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.
As we honor Haylee’s memory, we wish to hold a beautiful outdoor memorial service in a serene garden setting to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to all of us.
Haylee Diane Crandall was born on October 7, 1982, to Valeri and Daniel Crandall. She was the cherished youngest sister to Natalee and Ashlee and a loving aunt to her three nieces and two nephews. She also held the special title of grand aunt to two nieces and one nephew. Haylee was surrounded by an extensive family who poured their love and support into her life until her last breath. The final 42 days of her life were filled with challenges, and we hold onto hope for justice in the future.
In the meantime, we choose to celebrate all that Haylee meant to us. She had a passion for life that was infectious—she loved coyotes, dancing, and singing karaoke to the tunes of Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, Milli Vanilli, Mötley Crüe, and so many more. Haylee found joy in the simple things, spending hours coloring and indulging in her favorite foods. Her birthday was her favorite day of the year, and she would excitedly talk about it long after it had passed. As Christmas approached, her spirit would light up as she shared her holiday wishes.
Haylee’s love and warmth touched so many lives, and her lessons resonate with everyone who knew her. You didn’t need to know her personally to feel her love. Our family is forever changed because of her, and we strive to carry her spirit with us every day.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Haylee. We are planning a memorial service in March (3/14 is an estimated date) to honor her memory, and any contributions to help make this possible would mean the world to us. And sharing her story would also be deeply appreciated.
With heartfelt gratitude,
