My heart is heavy as I write this. Losing my brother, Hasson, at just 46 years old feels deeply unfair, and our family is still trying to process the weight of this loss. He was one of the brightest lights in our family that will keep shining. To his children, he was Dad — someone whose laughter, music, and spirit will always be part of who they are. In his daughter's words: "He was naturally funny, but his humor was more than jokes; it was joy." He could make anyone laugh, from a CEO to a stranger just hoping for a better day. His voice was absolutely beautiful; he would sing until it was gone. Music lived inside him. It wasn’t just something he loved — it was how he expressed himself and connected with people. Football was the start of his biggest passion. He began playing at a young age and carried that love all the way to California State University, training relentlessly. In recent years, Hasson made a strong commitment to improving his health, which makes his sudden passing even more shocking and heartbreaking for our family. Hasson leaves behind two children — his daughter, age 29, and his son, 9 years old — along with us siblings, two fathers, and loved ones who are grieving deeply. Right now, we are doing our best to support one another, but the financial weight of funeral and memorial expenses, along with other unexpected costs, is more than we can manage alone during this time.
