It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic loss of Harry Washington III, a devoted father taken far too soon in a devastating hit-and-run accident on May 3, 2026.

Harry was more than just a parent—he was a true hero to his children. The kind of dad every child dreams of having. His kids didn’t just look up to him, they saw him as their best friend, their protector, and their biggest supporter.

On that day, Harry was riding his motorcycle with his young daughter when they were struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Both were rushed to trauma centers with critical injuries. Despite every effort, Harry sadly lost his life.

He leaves behind three beautiful children: Aaliyah Lashay Washington (9), Aliyjah Lucas Washington (8), and Amir Nykel Hawkins (8)—whose lives have been forever changed in an instant.

As their mothers, Alexis Neal and Ayanna Hawkins, along with their families, navigate this unimaginable loss, we are asking for support to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will go toward helping provide stability, care, and support for the children as they move forward without their father.

The loss of Harry has left a space that can never be filled, but together, we can help carry his children forward with the love, support, and security he would have wanted for them. I am creating this fundraiser for my best friend, Alexis, and her children because I have seen firsthand the love Harry had for his kids and the bond they shared.
