My daughter, Halee, was bright, kind, loving, feisty and so, so beautiful. For 28 years, she kept me and everyone around her on their toes. She was there for anyone that needed her. Always putting them before herself. Her laugh was contagious, how everyone is gonna miss that!
She gave me two beautiful Grandbabies, who will miss her in everything they do from this point on. She would have done anything for them, and I know she will be watching over them for the rest of their lives.
We brought Halee to Big Bear when she was 13 years old. She started 8th grade at Big Bear Middle School. She continued into Big Bear High School as an A student. She met and stayed connected with her friends as she went into adulthood. This community has been our family for over 15 years.
So, I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of My Baby’s funeral expenses. Our family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time, we are reaching out to family, friends, and the community for help.
We want to give Halee the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our “See you laters”. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of My Baby's funeral. We need to raise $11,000 by 10-11-2024 to be able to afford the funeral service.
I know how times are rough for everyone these days, if you are unable to help with donation we understand, but Please, come celebrate her on Sunday, October 20 2024 at 11:00am at Big Bear Cemetery.
Often, Halee would feel alone in this world. I want her to see and feel the love that we all had for her, all together, as one, as a Family.
I appreciate everyone for reaching out, bringing food, the hugs and THE TREE, nothing can describe the Love. Thank you, thank you for being there not only for us, but for her!
- With Love, always her Momma - Cortney Koch
