After battling cancer for 4 months, my precious Tio Gustavo went to join his Heavenly Father. Gustavo was beloved by many and a living testament of Matthew 22:37-39. He loved God above all. Even in the end of his life, he was giving praise to his creator. He also loved his family and his community. He put love into action.

Since he left us much sooner than we would have wanted, we are left grieving his absence and navigating the next chapter. This is especially true of his children, who at 18 and 22 are experiencing his loss at a crucial time in their lives.

Gustavo was an educator at heart and valued the importance of education. His desire was to have his children build upon the legacy that was started in Mexico. He wanted them to graduate with college degrees and with his passing, this has now become more difficult. We are hoping to provide them some relief through any generous donations. All funds are given to his children for their academic pursuits.
