Hello, my name is Flavilla Cuevas, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my cousin Kerby Aspervil, who is facing the most heartbreaking loss of his life. His twin brother, Guerby Aspervil, was tragically taken from us far too soon.

Kerby and Guerby shared the unbreakable bond that only twins can truly understand. They were more than brothers-they were each other’s best friend, confidant, and constant support. Losing Guerby has left Kerby devastated, grieving, and unable to work as he struggles to process this unimaginable tragedy.

We are asking for your support to help with:

• Funeral and memorial expenses so we can lay Guerby to rest with dignity and love.

• Support for Kerby, who is unable to work during this time of grief.

• Grief counseling to help him navigate this painful loss.

• Travel costs to bring their mother home.

She has been living outside the U.S. for more than a decade due to circumstances beyond her control. Despite the distance, she has remained deeply connected to her sons, and now more than ever, she longs to be here to say a final goodbye to Guerby and to support Kerby as he navigates the heartbreak of losing his twin.

Guerby was a bright soul, full of kindness and laughter. He was known for his hilarious sense of humor, his smile, his generosity, and his impeccable building skills. His presence lit up every room he entered, and he touched the lives of so many.

On August 21, authorities responded to a report of a foul odor in a Reading, PA home.

Tragically, they discovered Guerby, at the tender age of 22, had been killed. His life was cut short in the most horrific way, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

This tragedy has shaken our family to its core. While nothing can take away the pain, your generosity will help us give Guerby the farewell he deserves, support Kerby as he grieves the loss of his twin, and bring comfort by reuniting their mother with her sons.
