It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of Gregory Orr, the beloved son of our dear friend and colleague, Bonnie. Gergory was much more than just Bonnie’s son- He was her pride, her joy, and best friend. She would light up whenever she spoke about him, sharing stories about the bond they had so that all could feel her love for him. She would often talk about their shared love for baseball, specifically the Sand Diego Padres. Bonnie spoke about Gregory in a way that made us all feel like we knew him too. Bonnie would always make us laugh with stories about Gregory’s time as a Boy Scout. She described his passion for gaming and made everyone feel the warmth and humor he brought into every space.

Losing a child is known as the most unimaginable, heartbreaking pain a person can go through. As Bonnie begins to navigate this time of loss and grief, her community wants to come together to support her in any way possible. This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of the funeral expenses and give Bonnie the space to grieve and process without the added financial stress.
