Honoring Gregory Leopold – A Life Full of Love, Music, and U

Donation protected
Hello everyone,

With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news that on May 19, 2025, our beloved Gregory Leopold passed away after a long, quiet battle with his mental health. He was just 26 years old.
Born on October 8, 1998, Gregory was a kind, creative soul who had a deep passion for making music. Producing and writing songs brought him joy and peace — it was his escape and his passion outside of work. He was hardworking, grounded, and deeply loved by everyone who knew him.
He was a grandson, a son, a cousin, a nephew — and loved by so many.
Gregory was raised by his loving mother, Roseanne Garcia, and his devoted stepfather, Gary, who stepped in from the very beginning and never left his side. Gary helped shape Gregory into the thoughtful, responsible man he became, teaching him life skills and guiding him with love and patience.
Gregory also shared a powerful bond with his grandparents, Linda and Robert, who helped raise him and were an anchor in his life. When his grandfather Robert passed away about a year ago, it left a deep wound in Gregory’s heart — one he never fully recovered from.
In hopes of healing, Gregory moved to Hillsboro, Oregon with his girlfriend to start fresh. He had a good job and continued creating music, but the emotional pain and grief remained. Though he tried to move forward, the weight he carried became too heavy — and on May 19, he found his peace.
While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in imagining Gregory reunited with his grandfather, finally free from the pain that followed him for so long.
We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses and to give Gregory the loving, dignified farewell he deserves. Any remaining funds will be donated in his name to a mental health organization — to honor his memory and help others who are quietly struggling.

Even if you can’t give, sharing this and checking in on the people you love can make a real difference. Mental health matters. People matter. Gregory mattered.

Thank you for your love, kindness, and support.
With love,
Family
