My name is Jasmine Derisso (also known as Jasmine Lopez), and I am Gregory Derisso’s surviving sister. I am raising funds to help my father lay his only son to rest.
Gregory was a loving father to three young children—two boys and a daughter—who meant the world to him. As the only son of a Haitian immigrant, Gregory was the heart of our family, always bringing people together with his warmth, energy, and love. He was known for his incredible dance moves, sharp sense of style, and ability to light up every room he entered. Family was everything to Gregory, and he made sure those around him felt supported and cherished.
Tragically, Gregory’s life was cut short by senseless gun violence at a party in Los Angeles. His sudden passing has devastated our family, especially our father and Gregory’s young children, who are too small to understand what has happened.
We are coming together during this heartbreaking time to honor Gregory’s life and give him the farewell he deserves. The funds raised will go directly toward covering funeral home expenses and service costs, including embalming and ensuring that Gregory is laid to rest with the dignity and style he was known for.
Your support—whether through a donation or by sharing this page—will help us celebrate Gregory’s memory and bring comfort to our family as we navigate this unimaginable loss. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us closer to giving Gregory the loving and respectful goodbye he deserves.
