Grayson’s community is coming together to honor a bright, thriving 13-year-old who meant so much to the swim community. As a dedicated swimmer for both the Sea Dragons and Dolphins, Grayson was known not only for her accomplishments in the water, but for the remarkable person she was outside of it. She embodied excellence in character, unwavering dedication to the sport of swimming, and a true team-first spirit that touched everyone around her.

Grayson was kind, hardworking, and fiercely loyal to her teammates. When people think of dedication, they think of Grayson. She was always looking for ways to improve, always striving to be a little better than she was the day before, and she showed up ready to give 100% to every practice, every set, and every race. Her commitment to swimming was inspiring, but what made Grayson truly unforgettable was that her drive was matched by her compassion for others.

It was not just her speed in the water that made such a lasting impact, but the size of her heart. Grayson was often the first to step up when help was needed. Whether it was jumping into the pool to demonstrate breaststroke for younger swimmers, helping a teammate squeeze into a cap and goggles, offering words of encouragement, or simply sharing her bright smile, she was always there to lend a helping hand. She made every swimmer around her feel welcome, supported, and valued.

Grayson led by example. She showed younger swimmers what it meant to work hard, persevere through challenges, and be a great teammate. She celebrated the success of others as enthusiastically as her own and brought positive energy to every practice and meet. Her love for swimming was undeniable.

After Grayson’s passing, her community wanted to do something meaningful in Grayson's honor towards the Sea Dragons and Dolphins programs. We hope to ensure that Grayson’s legacy of dedication, kindness, perseverance, sportsmanship, and service to others continues to inspire young swimmers for years to come.
