As I come here today, I’m asking for Support. Any little bit will definitely help.!

My grandmother was battling stage two liver cancer. But she had so much spunk and energy and joy still in her while battling the sickness. However, two weeks ago, she fell at my mother‘s house. From that fall, she suffered an injury called “ perforated bowel” which is a tear in her colon! She was admitted to the hospital five days ago still able to talk still able to move however, while in the hospital, she was given blood thinners because doctors were not helping her move around while she was in the hospital so they had her in the bed and told us that she needed blood thinners to prevent her from getting blood clots !

However, nobody is supposed to get blood thinners when they have a perforated bowel because it can cause blood to see from the hole into the belly cavity !

My grandma was sent home after one day of being in the hospital, on home, hospice care. The very next day after leaving the hospital, she was unresponsive. Only breathing laying in her bed. She could not open her eyes or talk! Sadly on April 27 at 10:32 in the morning, she took her last breath!

We are having to fight this legally! Because the medical examiner is saying that she died of natural causes! Completely disregarding the fact that she fell, and punctured a wound in her colon!

So therefore, my grandmother is unable to get her Insurance rider coverage because the Hospital is trying to say that she died from her liver cancer, which she was only in stage two and perfectly fine before the Hospital admitted her and started feeding her blood thinners! So my family needs to hopefully raise $2500 to put with the $15000 other policy that she has for life insurance to properly bury her!!

I’ve never done this before, but this is really taking a toll on my family! Especially for the simple fact that the Hospital did give my grandmother improper care! We are having to have an autopsy done and go through a private attorney to find out what her real cause of death was!

My family and I just want to make sure that my grandma’s funeral expenses are completely covered! Whether it’s $1-$2 any dollar amount my family, who would greatly appreciate the support as we are in the process of trying to grieve my grandmother, as well as hold the Hospital accountable for malpractice and improper medical treatment
