Yesterday, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My grandma passed away after a brave battle with cancer. She was the heart of our family—loving, strong, and endlessly selfless. To know her was to be loved by her.

My papa didn’t just lose his wife—he lost his best friend, his partner, and the person who stood beside him through everything. They shared a deep, unbreakable bond, and after decades together, life without her feels unimaginable.

We are raising funds to help cover memorial and funeral expenses so we can honor my grandma’s life in the way she deserves. We are also asking for support to help my papa during this incredibly difficult time. He is a semi-truck driver and has already been out of work for the past month while recovering from gallbladder surgery. Now, after losing his soulmate, it is not safe or healthy for him to return to driving alone until he has had time to grieve and emotionally cope.
