On May 4, 2026, Gordon Edward Thorpe suffered a medical emergency and sadly didn’t survive. Gordon had just gone to prom and would have graduated in a few short weeks.

The Thorpe family has been the family I was able to choose when I had no one. We have become a family over the past few years. Robin and John, Gordon’s parents (a BCPS educator and an MTA bus driver) are struggling to understand this tragedy, so we would like to help cover his expenses to lessen their burden. Funds raised will be used to offset any costs and help the family with missed work. Also, funds will be used to plan a celebration of life for Gordon in the upcoming weeks.
