Honoring Gladys Ruiz with Love and Support

Gladys Ruiz was loved by those who were fortunate enough to know her. She filled every room with love, laughter, and kindness. She was selfless, caring, and always placed the needs of others above her own. She leaves behind a beautiful family: her husband Mr. Bolivar, 4 daughters, Anita, Adriana, Angie and Ashley, and 9 grandchildren.

A tragic event occurred on the night of Dec 5th as Gladys was leaving for home after a long day at work. Gladys was a victim of a hit-and-run incident and was left helpless at the scene. Gladys was found at 6:22 pm by a couple who promptly alerted the Perth Amboy authorities.

Gladys was taken to RWJ Hospital where she was formally pronounced dead. Her loved ones were notified of the incident soon after.

This loss is extremely disheartening to those who loved Gladys. She will always be remembered, and her memory will live on in all of our hearts.
