On December 7th, our beloved Gladys Rosario Lazcano de Salazar passed away, surrounded by her family. Her sudden departure has left us with a profound emptiness and a loss we are still struggling to understand. She is survived by her husband, Juan Carlos “Lolo,” and her children, Luis “Nano,” Jessica, and Allison.

To know Gladys was to know kindness. She was a gentle, selfless soul who always placed others before herself. She showed her love in the simplest and most meaningful ways—through a warm plate of food prepared with care, a quiet hug when words weren’t enough, and her constant presence at every family gathering, big or small. Her love was steady, comforting, and unforgettable.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover her funeral services, outstanding medical expenses, and to give her immediate family a bit of breathing room during this incredibly difficult time.
