Our beloved Gina has passed away and gone home to Jesus. Karen and I are creating this GoFundMe on behalf of someone we loved deeply, someone we fought for, prayed for, and stayed up countless nights helping when nobody else was there.

Gina’s life was not easy. She carried a childhood full of wounds most people never recover from—abandonment, trauma, and battles with depression that followed her into adulthood. She was one of the toughest people we knew, not because life was kind to her, but because she kept standing even when life kept knocking her down. There were many nights where Karen and I sat with her, talked her through fear, heartbreak, and darkness. Many nights of prayer. Many nights where we reminded her that Jesus loved her, that her life mattered, that she wasn’t alone. We stayed by her side because she deserved someone who wouldn’t give up on her. In her final moments, we told her the most important thing: “Just accept Jesus into your heart. Let Him take you home.” We pray she did. We believe she did. And now her suffering is over. She is finally at rest.

Throughout her life, Gina found her true family in the people who stood by her side, loved her unconditionally, and made sure she was never alone. Karen and I were honored to be that family for her. We want to ensure that her funeral and memorial services reflect the love, dignity, and faith she deserved. Funds raised will go directly to the companies providing Gina’s services, and will also be used by us to honor her memory in meaningful ways that celebrate her life and spirit.
