Celebrating the Life of Giddeon Malloy – Family Support Fund

Donation protected
Giddeon William Malloy was born on September 1st, 1987 in Layton, Utah to Garth Malloy and Charmayne (Marcus) Roberts. He spent the majority of his childhood in Garland and Tremonton where he met his dad George Roberts in 1999. He passed away at his Ogden home on January 23rd, 2025, due to a mental health crisis.
Giddeon was always an inspiration to his mother. He grew up spending his time reading, fishing, camping and loved taking family trips, except to Hoover Dam. Music was always his passion, and his first instrument was the Viola. He and his brother Jake were thick as thieves. They did everything together growing up. Giddeon was creative and from a young age wrote poems and stories. He had the greatest wild imagination! He loved campfires and telling stories. He loved his guitars and sharing so many video clips of him playing songs he wrote. He loved spending time with his cousins Tyler, Aliesha and Jamie who were more like siblings than cousins and would spend hours talking and just hanging out.
Giddeon graduated from Bear River High School in 2005 and later attended Weber State University, although some of his earliest influencers were the Jennings family, Carol, Lee, Cristine and Ben who, to this day, hangs his baby shoe up at Christmas time.
On April 29th, 2011 Giddeon eloped to Las Vegas with the love of his life, Jennifer Isham. They shared a million adventures, a million “I love you’s,” and an endless conversation philosophizing about the world. Over the next 13 years they created two beautiful children, Ganicus Wylde and Alorah Diana. Giddeon was an amazing father, always there to make his children laugh and feel well loved. He shone a bright light of warmth and humor upon every person lucky enough to know him, and the world is now a little darker without him here.
Giddeon is survived by his wife Jennifer Isham Malloy, son Ganicus Malloy, daughter Alorah Malloy, father Garth Malloy, mother Charmayne (George) Roberts, brothers Garret (Lexi) Malloy, Jake (Chelsie) Roberts, Grandmothers Audry Malloy and Colleen Green, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who love him dearly.
Giddeon was preceded in death by his Grandfathers George Malloy and Gary William Marcus. Please feel free to share your memories of Giddeon and upload pictures to his memorial page at www.myers-mortuary.com. Help us celebrate his life by sharing the joy he brought into yours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 1, 2025 at 2pm with a viewing from 12-2pm. Giddeon will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Memorial Park in Ogden, Utah.

Funeral service will be live streamed and can be watched by scrolling down to the bottom of obituary page under the pine trees.
