It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news of the passing of our beloved houseman, Gerald Merritt, who left us on January 6th. Born on July 5th, 1965, Gerald brought 58 years of warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication into the world—and into our lives.

Gerald wasn’t just a valued member of our team; he was part of our family. Whether he was helping solve a problem, offering a kind word, or simply brightening the day with his gentle presence, Gerald exemplified the very best of what it means to serve others. He cared deeply about his work and, more importantly, the people he worked with.

His absence will be profoundly felt by all of us. Gerald’s legacy of kindness and helpfulness is one we will carry forward as we honor his memory.
