Hello, my name is DeLaynee Fugere and I have been a family friend of the Medruds for the last 22 years. I am starting this GoFundMe for Gerald Medrud, so his family can give him the dignified farewell that he deserves. He will be taken off of life support, Monday, and we are trying to get a jump start on funeral expenses. Gerald dedicated his life to his 3 children and serving the community as a law enforcement officer, then as a judge for the Turtle Mountain Tribal Court. In times of tragedy, it’s important for us to come together and support one another. Gerald was a beloved member of our community, and we are raising funds to help cover the costs of the funeral and other expenses. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.
