Honoring Geoff's Big-Hearted Legacy

We are heartbroken to share the passing of Geoffrey Belcher — a beloved father, partner, friend, and colleague whose light touched so many. Geoff was truly one of a kind: he was kind and gentle with a sharp wit, always ready with a joke or some good-natured trash talk that somehow always came from a place of deep love. He was a passionate cook, a proud sneakerhead, and a man who brought joy to every 4th of July with his legendary fireworks shows. Geoff was a devoted father to his daughter Jocquelyn and a loving partner to Brandy, as well as a cherished member of the UC Davis Health Clinical and Translational Science Center's Administrative Operations Team. His warmth, humor, and big-hearted spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him — from coworkers and neighbors to his large circle of friends and family.

We are raising funds to help Brandy and Jocquelyn cover memorial expenses and to begin a support fund for Jocquelyn’s future. Any contribution, big or small, will help honor Geoff’s memory and continue the legacy of love he built in his time with us. Memorial services will be held at a later date — more details will be shared as plans come together. Thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
