Our team at Antiques on Magnolia is heartbroken by the sudden and tragic loss of our longtime employee and dear friend, Gary Minor.

Gary was so much more than an employee to us. He had been with Antiques on Magnolia for many years and became an incredibly important part of our lives and our small business. Over the years, Gary formed meaningful relationships not only with those who worked alongside him, but also with so many of our clients who came to know and care about him. His loss has left all of us absolutely devastated.

Gary tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles. What initially appeared to be an unexplained accident has since taken a heartbreaking turn, as dashcam footage appears to show a loose tire crossing over the center divider and into the southbound lanes where Gary was riding. The California Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate and is searching for answers about where the tire came from.

We desperately hope those answers come. In the meantime, our focus is on honoring Gary and supporting the three children he leaves behind, Owen, Trevor, and Alexa Blue, as they face the unimaginable loss of their dad.

We have created this GoFundMe to help cover Gary’s funeral and memorial expenses. Any funds remaining after those expenses will be set aside specifically for the benefit of Owen, Trevor, and Alexa Blue.

Gary meant so much to so many people. We want to do everything we can to honor someone who gave so many years of his life to our small business, our clients, and the people around him — and, most importantly, to help provide something for his children as they navigate life without their dad.
