Hi, my name is Maria Romero and I am currently asking for donations to cover the cost of a funeral and burial of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Fred Romero, who is in his final days of life. Our goal is to raise $11, 000.00.

Funeral Home cost $7,050.00 (Not including casket)

Burial cost $2,295.00 (extra $500.00 for Saturdays)

Casket $1, 500. = 10, 845.00

Growing up as one of seven children, he always made sure we had food in our bellies and roof over our heads, always giving. He was so loving and giving that he gave away the burial fund he had to others in need.

He has touched so many people in his life. He was dedicated to his fellow instructors, dance students, Parkinson's community, the AIDS community and the Church. Always donating his time and talent. We are remembering what a loving and giving person he has been.

If you would like to visit him, he is currently intubated at Plano Medical Center in Plano. He is not expected to last much longer.

Due to his bladder cancer, congestive heart failure and stage 4 kidney failure. We are devastated by his pending loss and not prepared for the high cost of a funeral and burial. He will be buried at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, where he has a plot next to my Mother.
