Hello dearest friends and family,

on January 16th, 2025 we suffered a huge loss: Satara’s Dad, Frank Post, passed away after a battle with an infection.

For those of you who didn’t know Frank, he was an amazing man who inspired countless lives as a Professor of Mathematics at South Seattle College. In addition to leading the next generation of Math educators as a “teacher of teachers”, earning their teaching credential, he also taught struggling students who feared the subject of math, that they too could be successful.

Frank is one of my true heroes. He fought a lifelong battle with Muscular Dystrophy, but didn’t let his disease get in the way of carving out an incredible legacy of leading with love, raising an amazing family, and being one of the truest and full-hearted sports fans I’ve ever witnessed.

For all of Franks amazing qualities, he was also the sole provider for his wonderful wife, Michelle, and amazing daughter, Renee. Michelle herself has her own health struggles, with an ongoing battle of cancer, and his daughter, Renee has an intellectual disability— making it impossible to make a living.

As many of you may have likely experienced, this time of loss and grieving can also be accompanied by financial burdens and unforeseen hardships have led us to ask for a little help and assistance. Between medical costs, funding Franks celebration of life gathering, and ongoing bills— a need has arisen for some financial aid.
