Francy Weatherman, my best friend, partner, and fiancé of 17 years, passed away in the ICU of Mercy San Juan Hospital in Sacramento County last Saint Patrick’s Day, the night of March 17,2026, during a Code Blue where her heart and organs gave out, while surrounded by myself and two friends and a dozen doctors and RNs, right before my eyes. It was the worst experience of my life and I loved Francy very much. She was to myself and to a great many a ray of sunshine and inspiration, joy and warmth and hilarious amusement, to family to neighbors to co-workers and to any and everyone fortunate enough to know her, and to the multitudes of friends she had because she was that way. Speaking of friends, her radio show Francy & Friends which ran almost as long as our relationship, influenced and delighted a great many more souls across the entertainment industry, and being a guest myself was how Francy and I first met and fell in love. This prompted me to fly to South Carolina in 2009 to pick her up and take her home with me to Sacramento, where we lived together ever since. Now that she’s passed, I am upholding my duty with the blessings of her family to arrange for the services of a funeral home and cemetery. I chose Price Funeral Chapel of nearby Citrus Heights to be the funeral home and I just signed the paperwork and chose her casket, and she’ll be transported to the Sylvan Public Cemetery of Sacramento where she will be laid to rest with a small ceremony including close friends and will be livestreamed, followed by a Celebration of Life get-together at our Sacramento home down the street. The date is currently TBA. I just need to raise the money. The total cost for the funeral home services, the casket, the cemetery fees including the burial, everything, is just short of 9 grand. I am desperately reaching out to everyone to give what you can so we can make this happen together. With your help, Francy can be given the love, dignity, and respect we all had for her while she was with us, by laying her to rest this way now that she’s gone. God bless you all and thank you.
