Our son Fozzy passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. There was no warning and no clear reason. One moment he was with us, and then everything changed. Fozzy was 12 years old, and he had a heart that was genuinely kind. He looked for the good in others and had a deep appreciation for animals and lizards. He even had multiple pet lizards around the neighborhood that he would visit daily, naming each one.
He stood up for others at school and protected his little brother. He didn’t wait to become a good man—he was already becoming one.
Fozzy appreciated simple joys like cracking open geodes, playing Minecraft and Pizza Tower, finding bugs, and of course catching lizards and making homes for them. He wanted to run errands with us just to spend time with us even if they were the boring errands. He developed a love for fresh baked bread and bought a cooking book. He was learning how to make pasta and pizza dough from scratch. He often contributed to our family meals by cooking the biscuits or dough for pizza. If we were sick he would bring us his fresh baked bread.
Now, those ordinary moments are the ones we miss the most.
He experienced a sudden cluster of seizures, and despite every effort to save him, he passed.
We’re still trying to process what happened and to take care of our family during a time that doesn’t make sense.
This page was created because many people have reached out asking how they can help. Any support will go towards medical bills, the ambulance, and the air lift.
We love you, Fozzy.
