I am Erin Sylvers and I am Foster’s middle daughter. Daddy bravely fought stage 4 prostate cancer for three years, despite being given only three to six months to live. A week before Daddy’s transition, he asked us to create a GoFundMe to help with the overwhelming medical expenses—more than $14,000 at one facility alone. On Saturday, May 30 at 6:50pm, he stepped peacefully into eternity. While we are grateful he is no longer in pain, there are still needs as we grieve and prepare to honor his life.

So many loving hearts have already surrounded us with support, and we are deeply, deeply thankful. Many others have asked how they can help, and this remains the simplest way. Your gifts of kindness will be managed by our Auntie Pat, Patricia (Sylvers) Deruso, who has lovingly overseen Daddy’s care for years.
