Floyd was more than a master stylist—he was an artist ahead of his time, a mentor to countless professionals, and a pillar in the Buffalo community. From Obsessions to Escape to Iconz Hair Salon, his talent, leadership, and passion helped shape generations of stylists. Many considered him one of the baddest hairstylists Buffalo has ever known.

Above all else, Floyd was a devoted father. His children were the center of his world, and he poured into them with the same love, belief, and encouragement that he gave to everyone around him. Floyd lived 58 incredible years while courageously battling sickle cell, an extraordinary testament to his strength and resilience. Though his absence feels unimaginable, there is peace in knowing he is no longer suffering.
