Honoring Fardosa Dahir's Legacy

I am creating Gofundme campaign on behalf of the family of Fardosa. Here is a statement from them:

It is with heavy hearts that we, the daughters of Fardosa Dahir, announce the passing of our beloved mother. She was not only a mother but also a devoted daughter, a loving grandmother, sister, and a cherished member of our community. Our mother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer earlier this year and bravely battled the disease for several months. Unfortunately, the outcome did not align with our hopes. Throughout her ordeal, her unwavering faith remained steadfast, and she gracefully accepted the tests that Allah had placed upon her. Despite her pain, she maintained a brave face for her elderly mother and her young granddaughters. She continued to support and stay connected with family across the globe while undergoing treatment, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to helping others even in her time of need.

Our mother was the epitome of selflessness, love, and generosity. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Known as Ahlul Deen, she consistently went out of her way to assist others, regardless of the challenges she faced in her own life. She imparted to us the true essence of relying on Allah (swt) regardless of the circumstances.

In honor of our remarkable mother, our community has joined together to establish a lasting Sadaqah on her behalf. Our collective goal is to raise the necessary funds to build a mosque and a water well to assist those less fortunate. Constructing a mosque and water wells in her memory is the least we can do to pay tribute to her extraordinary character. Every time someone drinks from a well built in memory of our mother, her status in Heaven is elevated. Similarly, each prayer offered in a mosque built in her memory will continue to raise her rank. We also aim to use the funds raised to have someone make Hajj/Umrah on our mother's behalf, as she unfortunately never had the opportunity to visit the beloved House of Allah in her lifetime.

We invite everyone to join us in contributing to this noble cause and bestowing the gift of Sadaqah Jariyah upon our dear mother. Sadaqah Jariyah is a gift that not only benefits others in this life but also benefits us and our loved ones in the next, as mentioned in the Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ: 'When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a child who prays for them.'

This Hadith also emphasizes the significance of digging wells: 'Whoever digs a well will receive reward from Allah on the Day of Judgment when anyone from amongst the jinn, men, and birds drink from it' (Bukhari and Muslim).
