Help Us Give My Nephew Evan the Goodbye He Deserves ❤️

I never imagined I would have to write something like this.

My youngest nephew, Evan Michael Leeper, was only 7 years old when we lost him. Seven years old. He had so much life ahead of him, so many more memories to make, so many more birthdays, laughs, hugs, and moments that should have been his.

There are no words that can truly explain what it feels like to lose a child in your family. One moment he is here, and the next we are trying to figure out how to say goodbye to a little boy who should have had his entire life ahead of him.

Evan was loved. He mattered. He was someone’s baby, someone’s little brother, someone’s grandson, someone’s nephew, and a very important part of our family. His older brother, Tyler, is now having to face something no child should ever have to experience — learning how to live with the loss of his little brother.

Right now, our family is trying to come together and give Evan the farewell he deserves while also making sure Tyler knows that he is surrounded by people who love him.

I am asking for help because the cost of this is more than our family can easily come up with while we’re trying to process the loss of Evan.

The money raised will help with Evan’s cremation, urn, celebration of life, and other expenses related to laying him to rest. Anything remaining will help support his older brother and our family as we try to navigate what comes next.
