Help Us Say Goodbye to Eugene

I don’t even know where to begin. Losing my brother, Eugene, has broken me in ways I never imagined.Eugene fought his entire life. From the day he was born, doctors told us he wouldn’t live long. What made it even harder was that no one could ever truly tell us what was wrong. Doctors could never diagnose him with a specific illness. There was no clear answer, no name for what caused his condition. We lived with questions that were never answered, hoping and praying for clarity that never came.

My father tried everything. He went to places I couldn’t even imagine, searching for help, answers, and hope anything that could give Eugene even a small piece of a normal life. He did everything a father could possibly do. And still, despite all the effort, love, and sacrifice, no one was ever able to diagnose him or give us the answers we desperately needed.Eugene never had the chance to live freely, to make mistakes, or to experience life the way most of us do. From the moment he came into this world, his life was filled with pain, hospital visits, and limitations that no child should ever have to face.

And yet… he was happy.

I have never in my life met someone who carried so much joy while going through so much suffering. Even in pain, he smiled. Even when his body was failing him, his spirit never did. His strength was unreal. His love was pure. His soul was beautiful beyond words. Eugene came into this world an angel, and he left this world an angel. Eugene was a brother. He was a son. He was deeply loved, and he will be missed more than words can ever express.

We are asking for help to cover funeral and memorial expenses, along with unexpected costs during this heartbreaking time. Asking for help is not easy, but any support will help us give Eugenie the goodbye he truly deserves.
