Hi everyone,
I’m writing this with a very heavy heart. Our family has experienced an unimaginable loss with the sudden passing of my cousin, Ethan who was only 19 years old. He suffered a severe allergic reaction that led to a lack of oxygen to his brain. After fighting for his life on life support, he passed away surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Ethan was just beginning his life. As a sophomore in college, he had so much potential and so many plans, goals, and dreams ahead of him. He lived with severe allergies his entire life, yet he faced everything with selflessness and kindness. In his final act of generosity, Ethan became an organ donor, giving others the chance at life. Ethan had a way of lighting up every room and always put others before himself, even while dealing with his own challenges. He made everyone around him feel loved and cared for, and he was deeply loved in return. Losing him so suddenly has been devastating for our entire family, and we are still struggling to understand how this could happen.
This GoFundMe has been created to help support his family with the overwhelming medical expenses from his ICU care, as well as funeral and memorial costs and other unexpected expenses during this incredibly difficult time.
Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love, kindness, and support you’ve shown. We will never forget it, and we will never forget Ethan.
Until we meet again ❤️
With gratitude,
Olivia
