Our beloved sister, Ernestine Bergo, passed away at the age of 84 after a long illness. She was not only our eldest sister but also a second mother to all five of us. Ernestine was always there for her family, offering love, support, and guidance through every stage of our lives. Her caring nature touched everyone she met, and she was especially devoted to her daughter, Sherry, who lives in Texas. Just six months ago, Ernestine lost her husband, and now we are working to honor her wish to be laid to rest beside our parents.
Ernestine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her so much joy during their visits. She also had a deep passion for animals, particularly her dogs, who were always by her side. Her compassion extended to everyone around her, and she was known for her genuine kindness and warmth. We are raising funds to help with her cremation here in Watsonville, California, and to fulfill her wish of being buried next to our parents. Any support will help us honor Ernestine’s memory and the love she shared with all of us.
