Help for Ernestina's final resting place.

Last week, our family’s world changed. Our beloved mother/grandmother suffered a stroke. She was hospitalized for a few months, and it complicated more as time went on. Due to her age, she had some health complications that her body was too weak to handle and could not fight anymore. It’s overwhelming to see her go, but she rests in the hands of the Lord now. She was always full of life, happy, grateful, and thankful for all the blessings the Lord had given her. Even when times were tough, her smile and kindness always thanked our Lord for another day.

Watching her go leaves our hearts with sorrow. However, we are forever grateful for the time we had, knowing she no longer suffers from pain. Remembering her bright smile, her contagious laugh, her strong work ethic, and her love for all— kids, grandkids, friends, or family—is what we are left with. She knew and touched many throughout her journey in life. Whether through preaching, working, or simply as a passerby, if you had a chance to meet her, you would immediately feel at home. No matter what was going on, she always made you feel at home and had wise words to lift you up if you were down or guide you on your journey. She made sure you knew how important and loved you were through the Lord's eyes. Whether you were a complete stranger or family, she only saw the very best in everyone's heart. Her words made you realize the love she had. Not a day passed where she didn’t spread the gospel and the words of our Lord, bringing us closer to Him. Even while laying on the hospital bed, the nurses that tended to her did so with the utmost pleasure and loved speaking with her, even joining her while she did her prayers. Her tenacity in her faith, her courage, and her love for the Lord are some of the teachings we hope remain in all our hearts.

While we are grieving through this difficult time, we are asking for your help. Mom always planned ahead for anything, even though we are left with some final expenses to overcome, from her final resting place to the final hospital expenses that we were not able to foresee.

We ask for your support in any way possible. Any small donation or shared link is of help. Thank you, and may God bless you all.
