Dear Friends and Family,

It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our loved one, Erik Rodriguez. He passed on September 15 in his sleep. He was a very cherished and loved son, brother, and friend. He was still very young and had a lot of hopes and dreams to achieve. He earned his bachelors degree in play writing and was planing to obtain his masters. His plays were accepted and presented at various film festivals. Most recently he was looking forward to visiting Houston, TX where his play Knuckle Games would be performed at La Vida es Cortos Festival. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As we come to terms with Erik’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his farewell. We want to give him the dignified and heartfelt send off he deserved, but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time.

We are reaching out to our community for support in honoring Erik’s memory. Any contribution no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering him fondly.

Funds raised will go towards funeral service, burial and memorial arrangements. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Erik is laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserved.
