On January 1st, Erika Bad Hand was hospitalized with illness. With courage and grace, she chose to begin her final journey on January 10th. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. Erika will be remembered for her fierce spirit and beautiful voice, lovingly called the Songbird of Taos.
